You can walk to the beach/waterfront, but not many restaurant options close-by.

The location is perfect! close to the beach, yet not a noisy neighborhood and also located close to restaurants. The rooms were fairly clean but loved the fact that each room had an iron board, iron and a hairdryer. The bathroom is modern but some showers don't have a cover glass or a door, which makes a mess because the water spreads around half of the bathroom. The DSTV channels are more, very rare at a business place. The kids really enjoyed the variety of channels. The beds are very comfortable, you'd wish not to wake up if your on a business trip. Since we came with a mini bus, they organised a special parking for us, they also have unlimited WIFI connection and a portable swimming pool that would be nice for relaxing on a nice sunny day. Their stuff members are super friendly! (High Five to them) Always looked forward to their breakfast because it was delicious and they always asked us the preferred time for breakfast which was one of the biggest highlight. It naturally felt like home. The ONLY hiccup we received from the BnB was not having electricity for almost two days, although the issue was beyond their control. Was a municipal issue. I just wish they could invest on getting more of backup powers. Only a few rooms were running on back-up. Either than that, would recommend anyone traveling that side to consider Conifer Beach House.

They also provided an emergency lamp. I had a very good breakfast in a very beautiful dining area with a view of huge ficus trees. The breakfast is tailored made, just like a breakfast cooked at home. The egg benedict is so good! However, the breakfast during weekend starts at 8am so you can’t have it if you have an early tour or flight. The lounge/common areas are so beautiful and relaxing. There’s also a swimming pool and braai. It’s too near to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants.

Was also told that their online pricing was incorrect and that the room could not be given out at that rate - perhaps why the room change came into play - what I see online is what I book and expect to get. Incorrect rates advertised is not my problem but the owner of the establishment. The bed and pillows were comfortable. New towels are definitely needed as the condition is pathetic for a 4* Guest House. There was a bug under one of the beds. Impressed with meeting Covid regulations and fogging of room and sanitising of remotes. Bathroom was decent with good amenities. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

I traveled for work purposes and the room had all I needed for this, but I would recommend this place to people travelling for fun and adventure, or who just want a break from the city as well.
